Speakon to TS** cables are widely used in studios. 12AWG conductors are perfect for high powered applications. Triple insulation is made primarily to reduce dielectric noise and increase cable life. While a PE and a PVC jacket will protect your cable from physical damage, a thick nylon sleeve will shield your cable from moisture and dust, which are the 2 components that decrease cable life, thus increasing a cable life.
